As today whether it is traveling or research of outer space we need to fly from one place to other. Technology is rapidly improving day by day and to cope up with the challenging situations in a crash of plane due to pilot in sleep mode or tired due to long flight hours. Before aviation, electronics pilot has to pay full attention to flying to fly land safely. Then there is the invention of auto-pilot technique which can perform some of the tasks of a pilot. Now innovation of aviation electronics was developed so that it can entirely replace the work that a pilot can perform while flying the aircraft.
Aviation means the flying or operating of aircraft and electronic is defined as circuits or devices using microchips, transistors, and other components. So basically, aviation electronics is a type of electrical systems that are used in aviation, astronautics, aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft to sustain a safe flight. It is also termed as avionics which is known as the brains of aircraft that are developed and produced to be used in aviation and astronautics. Avionics contains electronic systems used for the controlling, monitoring, recognition and routing of aircraft. Passenger safety and cost-efficient are the two criteria that are kept in mind to design these systems. These electrical systems are complex electronic systems that are a collection of a vast variety of Amplifiers, Microprocessors, Communications Transceivers, Navigation Systems, Microwave Systems, Radar Equipment, computers, sensors, display panel and many more systems that are fitted in the aircraft to perform a specific function.
In this type of technology fundamentally spacecraft or aircraft are driven by wire or circuits. In this technology, the computer is used as a substitute in place of a pilot. Computer read the input through a sensor and transmits the information collected by the sensor electrically to the plane actuator (it is an element of a device that is liable for moving and controlling machinery or system) which is responsible for monitoring the plane movement. Aviation is a part of electronic engineering and Navigation system; communication is also some other technologies that are based on electronics. In aviation electronics electrical systems are manufactured to perform with required standards and specification.
Nowadays, aviation electronics are playing a vital role in improving many technologies and enhancing the power of aircraft, spacecraft, etc. and each electronic part has its utilization in completing the avionics for a particular flight. Communications Systems connect the flight deck to the earth and the flight deck to the passengers. Navigation Systems find out the location and route of an aircraft. Computerized flight controls are used to diminish pilot workload and error during landing or takeoff. Data recorders, generally known as "black boxes" it stores flight information and audio that is recorded in the flight and that too can be recovered when the trip is crashing to know the reason behind it. Where it is not feasible for pilots to see the weather ahead, then weather electronics systems help the pilot to gather the information.
